So, to clarify.... We received a bad review because the tint was perfect, customer stated we scratched the car BUT the owner offered to fix it at our shops expense and the time it took to tint the car (doing a good job) took a little longer than expected. Basically we received a bad review because we did not own up to scratching the customers car... Let me start by saying that this customer gains nothing by writing a bad review but, in today's world, a business has everything to lose by getting a bad review. We have been in the window tinting business for over 20 years and with both our businesses, we have a very high reputation for quality and customer service. Although not admitting that we did scratch the car we did offer to fix the car at our expense to make sure this customer did not feel like he was being taken advantage of.... STILL GOT A BAD REVIEW. Since we have been in the aftermarket automotive business for over 20 years, we have seen a lot and one thing we notice is that when you get your oil changed at jiffy lube or a battery put in at walmart, you don't tend to even look twice at your car but when you come to a shop that is making your cars appearance look better than it was you start looking at your car in more detail when it is completed. At this time you start noticing things that you may have not noticed before. Because of our experiences over the past 20 years of doing this, we know what our employees are capable of and although (again) not admitting guilt, we did offer to fix the problem out our expense. I can't help it if the customer is not satisfied with this outcome, but it surely does not deserve a bad review because the customer did not get the answer he expected to hear. I still stand by our employees and our reputation but the offer still stands, that if the scratch is still there and Gideon, you want have the scratch fixed by a professional body shop, at our expense, then you must call us first so we can set up the referral for you again. My final thought... The customer stated that after passing by our shop again ( keep in mind we tinted his car months ago) he decided to post a negative review because of how much anger he felt towards our shop. Reviews based on emotion, generally are not stated correctly and often do not provide the true context of what the review should be about. The customer stated the scratch wasn't there, we stated that we believe the scratch was there.... to me, offering to fix something that we believe was not our fault warrants a positive review for going the extra mile. Just Saying.

I have nothing to gain by writing a bad review. My car was tinted months ago but I just drove by the shop earlier today and it reminded me of how angry I was the day I got it done. To preface this review, I'd like to say that I detail cars as a hobby; I'm talking multistage, 6 hour paint corrections. The reason I mention that is because I know all of the imperfections on my $65K car, very intimately. So it starts similarly to the other bad reviews here. I was quoted a certain working time, I ended up waiting around an extra 1.5 hours. Whatever, I can get over that. I'm finally told they finished and I walk out to take a look. My initial thoughts were that the tint looks great. I continue to walk around the car and I notice a scratch on the rear passenger quarter panel. I had just finished detailing my car the previous day so again, I know what I'm seeing wasn't there before I brought the car in. To add to it, if you know about auto paint, you know there is clearcoat and any fresh scratch will have a ridge of clearcoat on either side of the scratch, it's just common sense. Clear as day. I go inside and I explain what I see to the manager for the day, I forget his name but I have his business card somewhere. He says his guys are the best in the business and wouldn't have done it, but he'll take a look and we'll go from there. We both walk out and stare at it and instead of just saying "yes, that looks like a fresh scratch that we may have caused", he just goes back to his original statement, saying his guy wouldn't have done that. At this point I'm just dumbfounded. I tell him I just detailed this thing and I know that wasnt there. Further, I took pictures of the car post detail, because who wouldn't after spending 5 hours making something shine? I show him the picture and I was lucky that I had a clear as day picture of that quarter panel, it has a timestamp on it and everything. Again he denies it. We go inside and even though he's still denying it, he give me a number of a local collision center and says his buddy owns it and if I call him, he'll take care of me. He was insisting that I wouldn't get charged. I never ended up taking the car in because I knew I could get it out by myself with some wet sanding and compounding. The point is that even though he reluctantly offered to make it right, he never admitted fault. Avoid this place. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the tint actually did look good.

Carrie Blount. A one star review because we did not answer the phone. Have you ever been late for an appointment that held someone else up? If so Im sure there was a good reason. Maybe there was 3 customers in the store and couldnt answer the phone and help the customers. Maybe outside with customers and couldnt answer the phone. Maybe working on a car and couldnt answer the phone. All good reasons but i guess a one star review for not answering the phone makes more sense. Thank you for showing others how easy it is to criticize for something so small.

Please click on Jason Simmons name above and then click on Tint Shoppe and then on reviews and read the owners comments from the Tint Shoppe under his review, I think he said it best. I was the only one working at my store this day and no one ever called to inquire about stripes for a car. Mr Simmons should be banned from providing reviews for not telling the truth.

Again got quotes for half as much for stripe kit jobs a year ago....yeah and you should be banned from business period ...great companies can work with people.subpars don't...$500 for a stripe job is rediculous especially when the person has the kit already, you don't have to do anything but put it on ...period .and you tell people to look at my reviews all you want I welcome it ...I give great reviews to people who deserve it
